my partner & I just finished uzumaki, on netflix for reference. it’s an anime that follows this town that is encapsulated by a spiral. turns them into demons who feed off people for blood.

it’s a whole thing.

have you ever felt so encompassed by emotion? feelings that seem bigger than life? that’s what the spiral reminds me of. it takes you. it pulls you to be this person you wouldn’t meet in a dive bar in ohama.

very recently, I made a playlist solely for myself. no one else. if you’re cultured & you don’t live under a rock, given you were born before 2000, you may know the tune “everytime” by britney spears.

she goes “I make believe that you are here, it’s the only way I see clear” & I swear on my best piece of writing, that’s gospel. you see the spiral, you become it.
